What can I expect? I’m scared!

• We understand that many people are nervous, embarrassed or uncomfortable talking about this topic. Participation is totally optional. You are welcome to simply watch the class and enjoy the resources. The class will be lighthearted, sex-positive, safe and fun for everyone in the group. However these are adult topics and may be considered taboo by many so please bring an open mind and put the kids to bed! We WILL go further than vibrators and furry handcuffs. If this challenges your religious or moral beliefs, this class may NOT be for you and that’s ok. Why are you doing this?

• Following a number of requests, it was clear there was a need for this class. There isn’t a lot of information out there about selling in this category and a lot of misconceptions about the category. Successfully researching these products and how to market them without falling into a black hole of spam and porn can be a challenge so we did some weeding to get you real market data to figure out what will actually sell and what buyers are looking for. Also, I’m braver than most and don’t often get the opportunity to talk about this stuff :D

Is this class for me?

• If you sell any kind of customized or unique replenishable product, this class is for you. It is intended for anyone making bundles, private label or white label products, t-shirts, Coloring Books or other books. You do not need to be selling on Amazon to benefit - it is perfect for anyone selling on their own website (Shopify or other platform) or on print-on-demand platforms such as Merch or CreateSpace.

Who are you?

• I’m Katharyne Shelton!
• Have sold on Amazon and eBay for four years, much of that full time
• Have taught hundreds of Amazon sellers to create successful listings from bestselling coloring books to #1 bundles to unique white label and private label products.
• Love creativity! I like to help sellers think in new ways and find new opportunities.
• Lead the Facebook groups ’Treasure Hunting with Katharyne’ and ‘Blue Sky’.
• Teach, speak and blog for trade shows and conferences including ASD Marketweek, the largest trade show of its kind in the US.
• Co-created the Blue Sky Suite, a market research and project management software system for Ecommerce sellers.
• Hold a British MBA and have worked as a coach and consultant in several fields.
• I’m also lucky enough to have learned from a number of professionals, artists and academics in the field of sexual wellness and to have been connected with several sex-positive communities.

What do I need to get started? Can you ungate me?

• You can use this class to sell sexual wellness products on any appropriate platform (including your own Shopify website) but the focus will be on Amazon.
• To sell in the Sexual Wellness category, you will need a professional selling account on Amazon and you MUST be ungated in Health and Personal Care.
• To make sure you can sell these products, go to your seller account, select Inventory > Add a Product > Create a New Product Listing. Navigate to Health and Personal Care > Sex and Sensuality. If you can list in that category, you’re fine. If that doesn’t show for you, you MUST get ungated to be able to use this course.
• Getting ungated in this category can be a challenge. Please search in Treasure Hunting for advice on ungating. You will need invoices from wholesale suppliers

Will this class teach me to create listings and to sell on Amazon?

• No. If you are completely new to selling on Amazon, we recommend our Blue Sky Create course at blueskysuite.com which includes walkthroughs of listing creation, keywords, Amazon policies and much more.

What model does this class follow? Wholesale? Private label? Arbitrage?

• The class includes a list of wholesale suppliers, but how you source is up to you. If your focus is retail or online arbitrage, this class will help you spot new buying opportunities and niches. If bundling, white label and private label are your thing, this class will give you some fantastic suggestions to get you started. The niches we cover can also be used for eBooks, coloring books, journals and more. Use your imagination. We want to help you sell successfully! :)
